JOIN THE KIRKSTALL FORGE WALKING GROUP

At Kirkstall Forge we are keen to establish a walking group, to get those who enjoy walking or who walk to work involved in shaping the future of pedestrian provision. If you’d like to be involved, email life@kirkstallforge.com

ACTIVITY APPS

There are lots of apps available that can help you plan walking routes, record your steps or reward you for walking. Find out more.

A good all-rounder is the MapMyWalk app – a fitness tracker that enables you to use the built-in GPS on your phone to record your workout details, including duration, distance, pace, speed, elevation, calories burned, and route travelled, on an interactive map.

BRAMLEY FALL WOOD – WALKING ROUTE GUIDE

The historic setting of Kirkstall Forge and its surroundings means there’s lots to see and do, even if it’s only for an hour on your lunch break. Cross over the river at the train station and you’re in Bramley Fall Wood (and beyond that the park). Download a route map for a 1 mile (1.6km) walk through the wood, and other local leisure routes here.
