In collaboration with Yorkshire Business Insider, CEG hosted a networking event which sought to examine the opportunities and challenges which lie ahead in the ever-changing professional and financial services industry.
Yorkshire is home to a rich vein of professional and financial services but those in the industry recognise the speed of change and the fact that it has never been harder to operate a successful business within the field.
This event, which was sponsored by CEG, Wates Construction and Turner and Townsend explored a number of key questions, such as whether greater modularisation or diversification offer the best opportunities for growth and decreasing risk in the sector? Key issues like the implications future technology has on both staffing and the office environment were also explored at the free event. The impact of Brexit on companies operating internationally was also an important subject for discussion.
The expert speakers at the event were Chris Hearld, from KPMG, Claire Rowe, from Shoomsiths, Sean Duffy, from Barclays and Allison Radcliffe, from Direct Line Group.
