St Mary's Church Hall, Hawksworth. 6,500 homes received an invitation and 129 visitors
attended the public consultation, completing 93 feedback forms.
July 2004
CEG exhibited at Kirkstall Festival, it was estimated that half of the festival's
10,000 visitors came to the marquee and over 483 filled in feedback forms
July and August 2004
The site was opened to the public. A leaflet was sent to 18,000 households in Kirkstall,
Bramley and Horsforth.
October 2004
A local liaison group, chaired by Councillor Minkin is inputting local views into
the detailed plans.
November 2004
The site was opened to welcome local residents via their weekly newspaper. Around
160 residents took the opportunity to visit and view the proposals for the green
travel plan and the provisional plans for the outline planning application.
March, April and May 2005
Weekly 'open forge' surgeries were held at the Forge to allow residents the opportunity
to drop in, view the planning application and chat to the team.
