The site has an interesting past beginning with links to the nearby Kirkstall Abbey and including various industrial uses. The process of realising the site’s potential began with the production of a Development Brief by Leeds City Council and has involved the local community throughout.

The Development Brief recommended a mixed-use development, with employment opportunities and a variety of residential accommodation, leisure uses and local services. CEG’s proposals for the site have been prepared in response to the comments received during the community consultation process.
